Below you will find some information on our current work initiatives:
Project Name: Namibia 1
Project Location: North East Namibia
Project Summary:
This well is planned to be installed in North East Namibia close to the Southern Angola border. Some of the local people in this area are walking as far as 10 kilometers for water. This well will keep numerous women and children from having to get water from a crocodile and hippo infested river. For this project, we will be working alongside Christian Family Centre Missions who run an outreach center and school, which schools and feeds children once a day, about 6 kilometers from the desired well location. Project Name: Haiti 1
Project Location: LaRousse, Haiti
Project Summary:
This project is planned to be a repair and filtration project for a well at a church location outside of the capital city of Port-au-Prince. The well in this village was damaged during the massive earthquake that struck the country. Our goal for this project is to rehabilitate the well into a functional source of water and then to attach a patent pending water filtration device that will work to fill large storage tanks. Currently the citizens of Larousse are having to walk about 2 miles one way to obtain the water they need to survive. In addition, the United Nations has declared this church building a disaster relief location and will be staging relief efforts here if needed in the future.
